Goal: To promote safe handling, storage, and environmentally safe disposal of household hazardous chemicals and electronics such as televisions and computers; to promote consumer education for purchase of safer, less toxic, household chemicals.
Services: Disposal and recycling of wastes such as pesticides, paint thinner, aerosols, cleaners, oil-based paint, weed killers, photographic chemicals, mercury thermometers, gasoline, anti-freeze, car batteries, motor oil, oil filters, computers, TVs, and other electronics. Area Served: Kalamazoo County resident.
Eligibility: Kalamazoo County, Berrien County and Calhoun County residents as well as Almena, Antwerp and Paw Paw Township residents. Service for a fee is also offered to other out-of-county residents, small businesses, schools, non-profit organizations and religious organizations.
