Goal:
To educate and promote the humane treatment of animals; to prevent cruelty to animals; to raise public consciousness about animal welfare; to promote neutering and spaying.
Services:
Provides low-cost pet spaying/neutering; offers humane education programs to area schools; presents responsible pet ownership information to the public; maintains lost and found pet reports; offers pet food to animals in need; refers cruelty and neglect complaints to County Animal Control Department; promotes animal welfare legislation; provides pet visitation to area nursing homes, hospitals, and children's facilities; acts as a resource center for citizens with animal-related concerns.
