Goal: To support, promote, and fund the arts in the Greater Kalamazoo area.
Services: An association of artists, organizations, and art lovers who serve as advocates, coordinators, and leaders for the arts community. Provides consultations and workshops to members on grant writing, marketing, management and current trends in the Arts. Manages community calendar of arts events and information at www.kalamazooarts.org. Administers grant programs: Arts Fund of Kalamazoo County, Kalamazoo Artist Development Initiative (KADI), MCACA Region 15 Mini- grants. Programs of the Arts Council include: Community Arts Awards, All Ears Theatre, Art Hop, United Teens Talent, Make Music Kalamazoo, Concerts in the Park.
