Goal: To inspire people to care for the environment by providing experiences that lead them to understand their connection to the natural world.

Services: 1,100 acre nature preserve with diverse habitats and Interpretive Center; 14 nature trails; environmental information and consulting; barnyard animals; DeLano Homestead; summer day- and overnight- camps for youth; scholarship program; offsite environmental education programs for schools, community groups, and at-risk youth; 9-month licensed pre-school program; adult, family and teacher programs and classes; education specialist services; administers Michigan State Park Adventure Program.
