Goal:
To serve Jesus Christ, his church, and the people of S.W. Michigan while faithfully proclaiming the gospel and observing the great commandments to love God and love our neighbors.
Services:
Provides ministry and problem solving assistance to migrant farmworkers and resident Hispanics; provides opportunities for spiritual and social growth, and religious education to all disabled individuals; works with Catholic Family Services, St. Vincent de Paul and local parishes to serve local needs; operates a heating assistance program in co-operation with other social agencies and churches; marriage and family ministry; natural family planning program; Trauma Recovery Program for those affected by childhood abuse and neglect (see entry); monthly diocesan newspaper; administers Office of Schools with responsibility for two Catholic grade schools and one high school in Kalamazoo County.
