Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo

An association of artists, organizations, and art lovers who serve as advocates, coordinators, and leaders for the arts community, providing consultations to members on grant writing, marketing, and management. Produces the monthly Art Hops. Manages an on-line calendar of cultural events. Publishes quarterly newsletter. Administers grant programs: Arts Fund of Kalamazoo County, Arts Outreach Fund, Gilmore Emerging Artist Grant, MAGIK-Making Arts Grow in Kalamazoo, Region 15 Mini-grants. Curates rotating exhibits. Sponsors annual Community Arts Awards and All Ears Theatre. Collaborates with city on Sunday concerts.
