IRS-Certified Volunteers

Free tax preparation is offered throughout Kalamazoo County, January through April. At KPL, IRS-certified volunteers from VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) prepare the taxes.

Free Tax Prep at KPL in 2013:

  • Saturday, February 9, 10 am - 2:30 pm, Central
  • Saturday, February 23, 11 am - 3:30 pm, Oshtemo
  • Tuesday, March 5, 2 pm - 6:30 pm, Eastwood
  • Saturday, March 9, 10 am - 2:30 pm, Central
  • Saturday, March 23, 11 am - 3:30 pm, Oshtemo

The library is a member of the Kalamazoo County Tax Counseling Initiative, which sponsors the tax preparation service.
