Pride and Prejudice, the beloved 1813 literary classic by Jane Austen, is 200 years old this year. To celebrate, KPL is partnering with WMU’s Department of Theatre – in conjunction with its staged adaptation of the work, to bring you an evening of all things Austen.

Fully capturing the spirit of the beloved book, Pride and Prejudice is delightful, romantic fun. Forced to marry for financial security, the strong-headed Elizabeth Bennett enters into a scandalous excursion of love and courtship with a gentleman that will question her life thus far. Immerse yourself in Jane Austen’s world of desperate spinsters, determined bachelors, nosy neighbors, and embarrassing relatives, and join us in celebrating the 200th anniversary of this 1813 classic.
