Midnight Cattle Callers
“...traditional-sounding, ultra-authentic country, drenched in swing...”
Few musicians have the ability to transport the listener to a different time by just hitting some strings or directing the air that fills their lungs. The Midnight Cattle Callers do just that. When listening to them you find yourself when AM radio is king, sippin’ whiskey if you’re fortunate and moonshine if you’re desperate. The core-band; comprised of Dee Foster on guitar and lead vocals, Seth Sutton on upright bass, with Roger Brown on the electric twang-box and Luke Gitchel on the jazz box guitar, banjo and mandolin, rounding out the ensemble; epitomizes the sound that embraces a simpler time. These warm country sounds are a tribute to the hardscrabble towns and the people scattered across the American landscape. (www.midnightcattlecallers.com)
