Class Description
I can’t find anything on my topic! How do I find my way around all these databases? Where are the encyclopedias and almanacs!? All of these questions and more run through students’ minds at the start of the school year—especially when that first research paper or project is assigned. This class will start in the computer training lab and examine our online databases, searching the web more efficiently, and how to discriminate types of information. Next will be a brief tour of the various print sources available for research.
