Kalamazoo has long been home to an abundance of public sculptures created both by local and non-local artists. The works shown here are but a small sampling and were selected for this page to illustrate the depth and variety of visual art that is accessible to the general public. Since a well-documented source about local outdoor sculptures was published in 1980 (Hendry see below), the samples below specifically represent works that were dedicated sometime after that publication.
