Downloading an eBook to your Nook Tablet

• Register your Nook tablet device and set up an account at BN.com (for help go to the Barnes and Noble support page)
• Go to your Apps icon. On your device, select Shop and search for the Overdrive Media Console app. Tap Free and then Confirm. The app should download and be added to your app library.
• Tap the Overdrive Media Console app to get started.
• Go to your Menu and tap Get Books
• Select Add a Library
• Enter Kalamazoo Public Library
• Select the Midwest Collaborative for Library Service (this is our consortium)
• You will be taken to the MCLS/Overdrive catalog
• Tap Sign In in the upper right corner. Enter your home library and your library card account number
• Search for available EPUB titles, check them out and then download. They will automatically open in the app.
• IMPORTANT: If you haven’t already, you will need to create an Adobe ID. Use an email address and create a password in order to make the Adobe ID (you will only need to do this once). Tap Authorize when prompted.
